Continuous Innovation

At GEN we're always pushing the limits, balancing bleeding edge technology with rock solid reliable infrastructure. GEN Invests heavily in Research and Development of new technologies, as well as bringing new services to market using the very latest the industry has to offer. We will always have all the options for you to choose from, and we'll always be ready to help you get the most out of your investment.

Vertical Markets

We've been in the Industry for a very long time, and in that time we've had the opportunity to work with a wide selection of virtual markets, including Legal, Insurance, Financal Services, Energy, Contact Centres, Transport, Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, and healthcare. We've taken out stock services, and conformed them with addon's and customisations to suit the needs of those vertical markets, as well as our staff becomming familiar with the specific needs of each vertical market.

With you every step of the way

We're not one of those companies who let you sign-up online, then just leave you to figure it out. If that's what you're looking for, then our competitors are far better at it.

At GEN, we're here at every step of the journey. To help you set it up, or we can set it up for you. To work through it, or work under your instruction, and we'll maintain it for you, or guide you through how to maintain it.

We don't have first line support, so you won't end up speaking to a doughnut who tells you to turn it off and on again, and all our support staff work for GEN, unlike; Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, etc.

Confused

Confidentiality

Unlike many providers who showcase client logos and leverage relationships for marketing, GEN takes a different path. We prioritise absolute confidentiality, respecting that your business is yours alone, not ours to promote.

Confidentiality is our standard. You won't find client hints, case studies, testimonials, or your name in our marketing. This commitment is woven into our framework contracts and defines our professional ethos.

Our discretion extends to social media, where strict policies prevent posts, connections, or interactions that could unintentionally reveal client relationships. Even subtle activity can imply associations, and we take no risks with your confidentiality. Our staff are forbidden from having any social presence that names or mentions the company, its staff or clients and this is contractual along with a rigid NDA.

Beyond marketing considerations, this confidentiality serves as a critical security measure. Outsourcing providers who publicly showcase their client relationships have increasingly become targets for cybercriminals seeking pathways into those organisations through breaches, coercion, extortion, blackmail and espionage.

This unwavering dedication to confidentiality has earned the trust of organisations in sensitive sectors like finance, legal, education, healthcare, and public institutions, and that commitment doesn't end with a contract—it endures, ensuring confidentiality in the long term with strict limited data retention policies.

Security

Security at GEN operates on strict access controls and limited circles of trust. Our technical specialists remain anonymous to clients, working through our helpdesk system whilst we maintain full internal accountability.

This anonymity protects both staff and clients from targeted attacks and social engineering. Key measures include:

  • Specialist-client anonymity maintained through ticket-based communications
  • Field service personnel handle hardware only - no system access or credentials
  • Automated access tunnels that terminate when incidents resolve
  • Role-based system access with comprehensive audit trails
  • Undisclosed data centre locations with no third-party access

By removing human elements from the access chain wherever possible, we eliminate primary attack vectors used against traditional support providers.

Ecology

The Partnership is committed to creating a sustainable future for our clients, employees, and the environment. We believe that by making responsible choices and prioritising ecological responsibility, we can create a more just and equitable world.

Our ecological ethos is rooted in the principles of sustainability, green power, and carbon positivity. We invest in renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our dependence on fossil fuels. We also prioritise energy efficiency and conservation, ensuring that our operations are as efficient as possible while minimising waste and emissions.

As a member of the European Data Centre Association we have pledged to meet a carbon neutral operation by 2030, and as of 2025 we are already operating one of the lowest PEU's in the industry. We are also Climate Hub committed to the same target.

We are proud to be a member of the Green Web Foundation, a global initiative dedicated to promoting the use of green technologies and reducing our carbon footprint. We also support the Green Power Association, which works to promote the adoption of renewable energy sources and reduce our dependence on non-renewable energy sources.

We actively partipiate in the circular equipment economy, retiring equipment to responsible recyclers who then provide that back into the supply chain, and by doing so we greatly reduce the volume of e-waste produced.

In addition to our commitment to sustainability, we also prioritise the well-being of our employees and the communities in which we operate. We invest in employee training and development, providing opportunities for growth and development, and ensuring that our employees are well-compensated and treated with respect and dignity.

By working together to create a more sustainable and balanced world, we can help to ensure that our children and their children's children can live on a planet that is free from the devastating effects of climate change and poverty.

Organisations we Support

We directly support the following organisations through financial contributions or subsidised services. Whilst we don't endorse their specific activities, we believe they contribute positively to society. We regularly review our support commitments and may adjust them over time.
