GEN has always believed that quality is key to the success of our business model, and quality is vital
when it comes to infrastructure.
We became a Draytek Partner way back in 2012 when we recognised the value in this up-and-coming hardware
vendor. Since then, Draytek
has continued to innovate and provide high-quality, robust, and flexible networking solutions, which we
supply, install, and support.
GEN provide a wide range of technical support services for Draytek products, we use them internally, we provide them to our customer base, and we know them inside out.
We maintain a large stock of units and parts, ensuring that we can provide prompt maintenance and support to anyone in need. If you have a Draytek device and require assistance please don't hesitate to head over the the HelpDesk and raise a ticket.
Every company supplying, managing and supporting a significant number of units measures metrics like MTBF
(Mean Time Between Failure) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) to ensure that they are able to meet their
reliability targets.
Draytek continuously exceeds our expectations on both metrics, and we trust their hardware to maintain our
reputation as the number one provider of top-tier connectivity solutions.
This is why we deploy Draytek routers on every single connectivity solution we provide, as standard
regardless of the cost.
DrayTek occasionally faces undue criticism regarding the complexity of configuring their equipment compared to more budget-friendly brands like NetGear. While it is true that DrayTek devices may require a steeper learning curve, this complexity is a testament to their advanced capabilities and robust feature set. With our decades of experience with Draytek firmware, we consistently find that DrayTek equipment can be tailored precisely to meet our customers' needs, whatever they may be. Their devices perform reliably and efficiently, day in and day out, providing a level of customisation and control that cheaper alternatives simply cannot match.
It is perplexing why so many companies entrust the security of their network and business to an
inexpensive Chinese router provided by their ISP. The most vulnerable point in any network is the boundary
between the company's local network and the vast expanse of the internet.
Once a router is compromised, the entire local network becomes an open target for attacks, which is
absolutely unacceptable. Draytek offers a robust and fully stateful firewall, even in their entry-level
routers, allowing the creation of complex rules to ensure that only legitimate traffic is allowed through
while malicious traffic is blocked. We have unwavering confidence in Draytek to safeguard our customers.
Our remote monitoring system collects firewall logs from all our deployed Draytek routers and feeds this
data into our Network Operations Centre (NOC) for real-time analysis.
A rock solid endpoint router that supports ADSL, VDSL, and can be used with FTTP and FTTC. This versatile little device, with optional Wifi6, can keep up with even the fastest broadband's, and because it has a WAN2 port, you can aggregate both FTTC and FTTP at the same time. This router also support 4G/5G fallback via a dongle, which can be useful in remote area's or where connectivity isn't guaranteed. We have over 1000 286x routers on active maintenance and support++.
The 3910, like the 3900 before it, is a fantastic mutli-protocol security router with 4 WAN ports allowing for link redundancy and aggregation. This is our go-to router for larger corporate networks, for both LAN, WAN and VPN.
The VigorSwitch 2200x brings 16 ports of 2.5GbE and 4 10GbE uplink ports. The 2200xb brings additionally 4 PoE++ and 12 PoE capabilities to the switch. This is a layer 2/3 switch with allt he features you'd expect from Draytek, including Routing, Vlan, RMON, mirroring, fast-path and much more.
This rock solid 48 port GbE switch brings all the features you'd expect from a layer 2+ managed device, and includes 6 10GbE SFP+ ports for high speed uplinks.
The perfect companion to the G2540 and other 10GbE switches in the Draytek Range, the 2120 brings 10 10GbE SFP+ interfaces allowing super fast fibre traffic distribution at the top of the network tree.
